We start by listening—your sport, your position, your goals and what the injury is stopping you from doing. Your physio will:
Review injury history, training load and recent triggers
Assess strength, range of motion, control and load tolerance
Test relevant sport-linked movement patterns (running, jumping, change of direction, lifting)
Explain your diagnosis and likely recovery timeline clearly

Treatment
Your plan may include:
Manual therapy where appropriate to improve comfort and mobility
A tailored strength and conditioning approach
Mobility and control work specific to your sport
Education around pacing, training modifications and flare-up management
Technique and movement tweaks to reduce overload risk

Progress
At follow-ups we:
Track objective markers (strength capacity, running tolerance, function)
Progress you through return-to-running and change-of-direction stages where relevant
Build sport-specific resilience with controlled exposure
Clarify exactly what you can do now, next and later—so your return is confident and planned
